Norma Richard

Norma Richard, age 62, beloved wife and mother was called to her eternal resting place on Saturday, March 30, 2019. She entered this world on Tuesday, June 12, 1956 in Tyler, TX. Norma was the first daughter of Ruth Moore. She is survived by her mother, Ruth; husband, Ron Richard of Albuquerque; her son, Dustin Richard of Oak Ridge, TN; daughter, Madison Loginovs (Sean) of Rio Rancho, NM; and her only grandchild, Emma Regan. She also leaves her two sisters, Jeri Handy of Flint, TX and Rhonda Grimes (Bobby) of Kilgore, TX. Norma grew up in East Texas and graduated from John Tyler High school in Tyler. She enjoyed working in retail for many years, as well as shopping and collecting antiques, and other collectables. When Dustin and Madison came into the world, she dedicated her time and energy to guide and encourage them throughout their early years. Norma volunteered at schools in the Dallas area and Albuquerque Public Schools during most of the years they were in school.  She later worked as an Educational Assistant at APS for several years. Norma was a member of Anchor Point Church in Rio Rancho, NM. She accepted Jesus as her savior, at the age of 12, in a small church in East Texas and followed the Lord throughout her life. She encouraged her family in their walk with Christ. Norma and Ron became owners of the Sears Hometown Store in Belen, NM about 12 years ago. She was an integral part of the business and will be missed by many in the community. She was a loving wife and best friend to Ron for 46 wonderful years. Norma enjoyed spending time at Pensacola Beach with friends and family throughout the years. The light she brought into this world shines on in the lives of those she knew and loved; although her time in this world is passed, the light of her love will live on. Friends may visit Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Westside. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH-Westside.
