Norma Jean (White) Pyle

Norma Jean Pyle (White), born October 31, 1935 in Yale, OK, once stated while reading a weekday print of the Journal obituaries, that she hoped she could have an obituary that stood out a tad differently for her friends and family to enjoy. In reflection of the peaceful, early morning hours of May 21, 2018, and of this incredible woman, wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and believer…Her whimsical request to be more than a notice amid this day’s newsprint has not been forgotten. Nor will the enduring memory of love she has forever imprinted on the hearts of those she is survived by – beloved husband and best friend of 61 years, Raygen Arthur Pyle; their daughter, Dana L. Mossman and husband Kevin; three grandsons, Ryan C. Mossman, Raygen Seth Mossman, and Cade F. Mossman; and two great-grandsons, Caleb Raygen Mossman and Trace Adam Mossman.

With a heart of gold and the wit of Aggie whip, Norma’s youth quickly paved the way to cross paths with husband Raygen – a fellow, but rival Okie. Before long the two were married and soon expecting. Norma’s dedication to faith and family worked hand-in-hand with her husband’s hard work. Through the years, and through her faith, and the community of friends and neighbors that were always dear to Norma, she achieved a deserving happiness that can now serve as light and attainable joy in the memory and mark she made during her time here. Our tremendous grief in her passing is quickly eased by the sheer thought of the amount of love Heaven is now amassing.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hoffmantown Church.
