Noma (White) Biggs of Albuquerque, New Mexico, went home to be with our Savior on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
Noma June White was born February 11, 1934 in Oxford, Alabama, daughter of John Durward White and Carrietta Anderson. Noma loved the area in which she grew up in with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Her family moved to Tucson, Arizona in the Spring of 1947. She was a 1952 graduate of Tucson High School, and then attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She met her husband of 65 years, John Clair Biggs, who was stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB. He was a gunner on a B-29 during the Korean War. Noma met John at the Student Baptist House on the University of Arizona campus. They married on January 14, 1955, at the First Baptist Church in Tucson, Arizona.
Noma was very active in her church, serving God many years. She was the perfect embodiment of what it meant to be a follower of Christ.
