Ninfa Seferina Martinez, age 89, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025. She was born on July 4, 1935 in San Pablo, Colorado.
She was predeceased by her husband Isaac Martinez, parents Max and Esther Romero, sisters Loyola Mondragon and Flora Ortiviz, brother Anthony Romero, and daughter in-law Kathy Martinez.
She is survived by her children, Mark and Lindy Martinez, Diana and David Kortz, Ken Martinez and Ron Martinez, her grandchildren, Dynelle and Jeremy Rodriguez, Brian and Shelby Kortz, Eric Martinez, Allan and Amy Martinez, and Kristine and Abe Gallegos, and eight great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her siblings, Orlando Romero and Laura Romero, and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are her eight great-grandchildren, Jocelyn Rodriguez, Kaleigh Kortz, Kennedi Kortz, Jake Rodriguez, Allan "Brian" Martinez, Jr., Joshua Gallegos, Anthony Martinez and Zachary Gallegos.
Rosary will be held on June 2, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE, with mass immediately following. She will be laid to rest with her husband Isaac in a private burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery which will be held at a later date.
