Nina Trogdon

Nina Trogdon, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, in hospice care from complications of a stroke.

An intrepid farm girl from North Carolina, she travelled the world as a military spouse and in retirement. She visited every continent except Antarctica. She and her husband, Bob Trogdon moved to the Albuquerque area in 1996. Married for 64 years, he preceded her in death in 2015. Nina served as a volunteer at Popejoy Hall for many years. She was part of balloon chase teams for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

Nina is survived by her daughters, Lell Trogdon and Teresa Trogdon Anderson (Robert); grandson, Charles Trogdon Anderson (Laura Fletcher); granddaughter, Abigail Anderson (Henry Schloss) and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be private. She will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with her husband.
