Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called to be with our Lord on February 26, 2017. She was born in Texas in 1932 to Jim and Lois Jaynes. She graduated from Albuquerque High School and went to work at Sandia Labs where she met her husband, John C. Barnes. They married in 1951 and had three children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, James Jaynes; and her husband, John Barnes. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah and Cindy; sons, John and his wife, Terry and Lance Wilson; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was a very kind and loving person and will be greatly missed by all.
Service will be Thursday, March 2, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University, followed by Burial at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Animal Humane Society or to the Disabled Veterans.
