Nieves Angeline (Romero) Silva

Nieves Angeline Silva, born, March 28, 1926 in El Porvenir, NM, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018. Nieves was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Arthur Silva; mother and father, Benito and Antonia Romero; and brothers and sister of El Porvenir.

Nieves is survived by her son, Arthur J. Silva; daughter-in-law, Lonnie; granddaughter, Rachel; and grandson, Adrian; nieces, nephews and friends. Nieves was a long-time resident of El Porvenir, Las Vegas and Albuquerque.

Rosary for Nieves will be at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018, at Risen Savior Catholic Community Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, followed by Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 6, 2018.

Nieves was beloved by many and will be deeply missed.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Charities.
