Nicole Welch

Nicole Welch, age 68, beloved spouse, daughter, mother, and mother-in-law, was called to her eternal resting place on December 27, 2024. She entered this world on July 27, 1956, in Great Lakes Naval Air Station, IL, born to Russell and Louise Welch. She is survived by her spouse, Stephanie Welch; son, Brian Welch; daughter, Jennifer Welch; son-in-law Daniel Jaspersen; daughter-in-law, Sarah Armstrong. Nicole served in the Air Force.

Having been a semi-pro Bowler years ago, taught her an amazing tempo which she took to the game of golf. Her improvement over the years was remarkable. We played several times a week.

She loved her family and made time for all who loved her. Nicole's smile was a signature of her life. She made a point to brighten the day of those she encountered. Loving and generous was how she lived her life.

Nicole worked hard and was recognized by coworkers: "Your unwavering dedication, unparalleled expertise, and collaborative spirit have not only elevated the standards within the SQL database discipline but also touched the lives of everyone who has had the privilege of working alongside you. The stability and performance of our core systems today stand as a testament to your remarkable contributions over these 11 years. While the decision to retire is bittersweet, we are thrilled for you as you enter this next phase of life. Your achievements will continue to inspire us, and your absence will undoubtedly be felt deeply across the organization."

Her memory will be of how loving she was to her family and friends. She will be missed more than words can express.
