Nicole Renee Olivas, 38, of Albuquerque, passed away on the evening of September 22, 2024. Born on September 16, 1986, Nicole brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.


Nicole is survived by her beloved daughter, Destiney Gonzales; her parents, Mike and Tina Gomez and Albert and Angela Olivas; her siblings, Jessica Olivas, Ana Olivas, Alycia Olivas, Jennifer Gomez, Michael and Erin Gomez, her grandmother Clorinda Benavidez and her cherished godson, Mason Gallegos, affectionately known as "her monkey." She also leaves behind numerous close family members and friends who will deeply miss her vibrant spirit.


A life-long celebrator and an ardent fan of the Raiders, Nicole was the life of every party and relished gatherings with friends and family. Her infectious laugh and radiant smile could light up any room. Known for her generosity and unwavering loyalty, Nicole was a pillar of support to many.


Nicole began her distinguished career at Sandia National Labs as an intern and continued on in the government sector for a decade, working her way up through dedication and hard work to earn the respect of her colleagues.


A memorial service will be held at St Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, on Friday October 4th, at 10am. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to remember Nicole and celebrate her life.


Nicole's legacy of love and laughter will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
