Nicholas Tenorio passed away on Sunday December 8th, 2024. He was 26 years old. Nick is survived by his parents Randy and Ida, his sissy Olivia and her husband Joe, his Nana Rita and Grandpo Bobby, many aunts, uncles and cousins, his far reaching spiritual family, his best friend Myles, the “hot tub club”, countless treasured friends and his beloved, loyal dog Mia.
Nicholas was a kind, caring, thoughtful soul. He loved his family and friends and was always there to make them laugh with his quick humor, or cheer them on with an encouraging word. There was no creature in the world he loved more than his dog, Mia. Nick loved riding his motorcycle, and the freedom and quiet it brought. He enjoyed playing his guitar, taught himself piano and grew up playing the trumpet. He loved turquoise and silver jewelry and in a short time of practicing, made beautiful pieces that will continue to be cherished.
He had a mind for fixing things and was the stand-in mechanic for the business he ran with his father, Randy. He loved to be in nature, hiking, snowboarding, soaking in any hot spring he could find. He enjoyed dancing, and letting loose with his friends and being silly. But he was also a deep thinker, and tried to educate and better himself every chance he got.
He was a warrior, fighting a brain that betrayed him every single day. He loved his God Jehovah and his faith was an anchor for his soul. His family finds comfort in knowing that Jehovah God, the perfect judge and examiner of hearts, knew the silent battles he faced. And we trust that Nick is now resting in Jehovah’s memory, peacefully at sleep, perhaps for the first time in his whole life, waiting to join us when Jesus calls to those who have died and returns them to their families. We can’t wait to see him again, with a healthy mind and body, full of life and energy to do all the things he enjoyed and be with those he loved.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the outpouring of love and support. It has been an expression of Jehovah’s care and fulfillment of his promise to “heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds”. (Psalm 147:3) Thank you.
