In Loving Memory of Mrs. Bich-Ngoc Thi Ta

With deep sadness and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Bich-Ngoc Thi Ta, also known as Mrs. Ngoc Ta. She was born on January 12, 1945, in Quang Ngai, Vietnam.

Her youth was marked by elegance, cheerfulness, and a vibrant spirit. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful women in town, she carried herself with effortless grace and natural elegance. Her conversations were filled with simple yet profound insights, captivating details, and keen. We often refer to her stories with harmonically funniest memories.

Married to a South Vietnamese officer during the Vietnam War, Mrs. Bich-Ngoc's life was changed and tested by unimaginable trials, yet she never complained. Despite these hardships, she faced each challenge with quiet inner strength and a humble, giving spirit. After the fall of Vietnam in 1975, when her family's land and home were taken, Mrs. Bich-Ngoc was left to care for her young children, enduring countless struggles. Through it all, she remained hopeful and persistent, and was finally reunited with her beloved husband when he was released. She was a firm believer in the goodness of others and was truly a giver.

In 1993, Mrs. Bich-Ngoc and her family moved to the United States, where she continued to show the same resilience and grace that defined her life. Nearly 60 years of marriage to her loving husband, Mr. Duong Ton-That, stands as a testament to the enduring power of love, honor, and loyalty.

Mrs. Bich-Ngoc Thi Ta peacefully passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico, surrounded by her loving family. She was passing away in Peace, in the witness/present of her devoted husband, Duong; her beloved son, My; her loving daughter-in-law, Hanh-Thuan; and her cherished daughter, Phuong-Thao.

She is survived by her husband, Duong Ton-That; her daughter Thu-Uyen Ton-Nu and her husband Hai Anh Nguyen; her son My Ton-That and his wife Hanh-Thuan Thi Nguyen; her daughter Phuong-Thao Ton-Nu and her husband Kenny Nhu Truong; her son Hien Ton-That and his wife Bao-Quynh Ngoc Nguyen; her daughter Thuy-Tien Ton-Nu-Araujo and her husband Gary Araujo; along with her cherished grandchildren: Hai-Duy Anh Nguyen, Thao Kim Pham, Uyen-Phuong Thu Nguyen, Uyen-Trang Thu Nguyen, Khoi Nguyen Ton-That, Toai Ton-That, Phuong-Mai Mae Nhu Truong, Vinh Ton-That, Qui Ton-That, Nhu-Tam Ton-Nu, and Luke Araujo.

We will forever cherish the memories of her beautiful smile, her warmth, and her cheerful attitude toward life. Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit lives on in the values she instilled, the strength she demonstrated, and the love she so freely gave to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
