Nena Brannan, 94, beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, was called to her eternal home on April 7, 2016, following a short illness. She was born September 2, 1921 in Belen, NM, the daughter of Antonio and Manuela Gutierrez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen, her parents, and her six siblings.
She is survived by her three sons, Dale and wife Beverly of St. Louis, Missouri, Paul and wife Suzanne of Albuquerque, and Gary and wife Virginia of Shoreline, Washington; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Nena was an editor for Sandia National Laboratories for over 30 years until she retired in 1982. Nena was a member of Mountainside Church of Christ for over 55 years.
A celebration of life will held at Mountainside Church of Christ at 2:00p.m. on Monday, April 11, 2016 with a visitation at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, April 12 at 9:45am.
