Neil Thompson Smith passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 19th, 2021, at the age of 51. He was born in Petaluma, California on Tuesday, September 1st, 1970, to Dave Smith and Rosemarie Grande.
He grew up in the Petaluma area and graduated from Petaluma High School in 1988, then moved on to Santa Rosa Junior College where he met the love of his life Suzanne Harris. The two were married on Saturday, February 25th, 1995, and were blessed with four beautiful kids. Neil found joy in his career as a table games dealer at Santa Ana Casino, where he will always be known for his quick wit and sense of humor, his love and knowledge of Baseball, and his expertise in fantasy sports. At home, he loved to instill a competitive spirit in all his kids through rounds of Mario Kart and Tetris.
He is survived in death by his wife, Suzanne, and four kids; McKinley Hope, who is married to Joshua Thomas, Addison True, Trinity Grace, and Patience Joy. He is also survived by his mother, Rosemarie; brother, Bryan; aunt, Gloriann Lindberg; and cousins, Kerrilynn and Sherri Soldavini. Neil was preceded in death by his father, Dave.
