Nathan Scott Porter

PORTER, NATHAN SCOTT Age 15, our loving son passed away Friday, August 23, 2013. He was born February 9, 1998 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, to Stacey and David Porter. Nathan is survived by his parents; sisters, Melissa and Amanda; grandparents and family. Nathan had a gentle soul and touched many lives in his short time here. He was in the 10th grade at Cyber Academy, where he wrote for the school paper, was a member of Rio Rancho High School golf team and an accomplished pianist. Nathan had reached the level of Life scout and was an activity member of Boy Scout Troop 17 in Rio Rancho, NM. Our loving son loved hiking, camping, reading and writing short stories. He attended church at the Calvary Chapel in Rio Rancho. Services will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 12:00 p.m., at the Calvary Chapel, 138 Frontage Road NE, Rio Rancho, NM.
