Naomi Allen

Naomi Allen, age 88, a resident of Albuquerque, NM for the past nine years, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015. She is survived by her son, Richard Allen and wife, Sally of Poughkeepsie, NY and daughter, Virginia Allen of Albuquerque, NM; three grandchildren, Karolyn Pereira of Albuquerque, Christopher Topham and wife, Lisa of Danbury, CT, and Joseph Allen of Boston, MA; great-grandson, Jacob Topham of Danbury, CT; sister-in-law, Shirley Martin of Rockwell, TX; and many nieces and nephews. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Floyd Allen; parents, Paul and Ernestine Martin; and eight brothers and sisters. She was born in New York City in 1926 and lived in Fairfield, CT for 58 years where she was a long time member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was employed by Howland's and Henry C. Reid Jewelers. Naomi was also a member of Rhea Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Pl. NE in Albuquerque. A Memorial Service and interment at Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield, CT will be held in August, 2015.
