Nancy James age 77 went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday October 22, 2015. She was surrounded by her family. Nancy was born in Garrison, Texas to Rev. Sam R. Malone and Susie Cameron Malone.
She is survived by her husband Tom of 25 years; two daughters, Kymberly Knippa, Kathy Nehrenz and husband David; step sons, Tommy James and wife Cinda, Todd James, Don Alexander ll; nine grandchildren, Travis, Darin, Matt, Justin, Faith, Kurt, Mark, Stephen and Michelle; one great grandchild, Noah; nephew, Mark Edwards and niece, Laure Reminick. Nancy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was dedicated to helping animals and volunteered for Watermelon Ranch and Archuleta County Animal Shelter. She was a member of Celebration Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 26, 2015 10:00 a.m. with a viewing beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Celebration Baptist Church 5620 Laredo Rd NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87144. Another viewing, service and the interment will take place at the Cottle Funeral Home in Troup, Texas and at the City Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas on Thursday October 29, 2015.
