Nancy Hurt

HURT, NANCY LEE Nancy Lee Hurt, age 78, of Rio Rancho, NM peacefully passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM. Nancy was born on April 24, 1936 in Hammond, Indiana to Julius and Frankie Thompson. She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Jimmy R. Hurt, her 4 children, Andrew Hurt, Thomas (Robyn) Hurt of Rio Rancho, NM, Rosemarie Hurt of Albuquerque, NM and Brenda (Fidel) Trujillo of Espanola, NM, grandsons Eli and Jacob Trujillo of Espanola, NM, sisters Janet (George) Caruso of Sun City, AZ and Carol Price of Cresthill, IL, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Marlene Calabaza and Petrita Calderon. Nancy was a homemaker all of her married life and was also an AVON representative for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, volunteering at the library and belonged to the Genealogy Club of Rio Rancho. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be Saturday, May 31, 2014, at 10:00 am at Legacy Church East Campus, 4701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation .
