Nancy Anaya

Nancy Anaya, 60, beloved mother who touched so many during her life, passed away at home surrounded by family and loved ones on August 2, 2016. Nancy was born August 3, 1955 in Santa Fe, NM, daughter to Juan and Erminia Manzanares.
She was known for her faith in the Lord. Her interests were spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandson, and friends. She dedicated her life to the Lord, she was a supportive, and loyal person in so many of our lives.
She is survived by her mother, Erminia Manzanares; son, Shaun Anaya and his wife, Krista Otero-Anaya; her late son Joseph's wife, Victoria Anaya; and her grandchildren, Neesa Anaya, Amari Anaya, Maryah Marin, Anthony Anaya, Abigial Anaya, Shaun Anaya Jr., and Carlos Anaya; her one great-grandchild, Azarius Montoya; her sisters, Sylvia Sanchez, Pauline Anaya, Loretta Manzanares, Martha Callesen, and Linda Manzanares; and her brother, John Manzanares.
Also touching her life was friend, Diana Reyes, and her APD Family, Erika Wilson, Officer Vicente Martinez and family. Nancy served her community as an APD Telecommunications Operator.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Mass will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave NW, followed by Burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE. Ceremonial Flag Folding presentation to be done by Albuquerque Police Department and received by honorary pallbearer, Eric Manzanares at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Following the Burial please join us in celebrating Nancy's life at 316 Central Ave SE, just east of Broadway where lunch will be catered by Garcia's Kitchen.
