Nancy Marie Alton

Nancy Marie Farrand Alton was born April 19, 1952 in Sioux Falls, SD to Floyd and Ruby Farrand. She passed away in her home on February 15, 2022 surrounded by her children and grandchildren in Albuquerque, NM.

Nancy was the oldest of four children who grew up together in a loving, Christian home. She was an RN/NNP at the University of New Mexico’s Children’s Hospital for 30+ years. She also served at Hoffmantown Church in many different capacities. She lived a very full life filled with love for her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Ruby Farrand. She is survived by her children, Kjirstin (Chris) Phillips, Nathan Alton, and step-daughter Suzanna (John) Ebbeke; her siblings, Jean (Scott) Lastine, Edina, MN, Doug (Karelyn) Farrand, Aberdeen, SD, and Sharon (Steve) Syrdal, Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Daniel, Joey, Anna, and Tommy Phillips, step-grandchildren, Hannah, Hayley, and Dillon Ebbeke; and nieces and nephews, Andrew (Yissel) Farrand, Ashley (Brandon) Dunham and Stuart Farrand, Kendra Syrdal, and Peter Lastine.
