Nadynne A. Myers, 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior unexpectedly on Thursday November 19, 2015. Nadynne was born on May 16, 1934, in Greeley, CO to Elgy and Louise Bennitt. Nadynne married Richard Myers on May 9, 1954 and moved to Albuquerque in 1961. When her older children were in middle school, she went back to school and received a master's degree from UNM. She retired from APS where she worked as a teacher, speech pathologist and in special education administration . She then worked at UNM supervising speech pathology students for several years. She was married to Richard for 61 years before his death in August 2015. She was responsible for starting the Caraway Street Children's Puppet Ministry in two local churches. She was a longtime member of Sandia Baptist Church. Nadynne was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Alice Warren; husband, Richard; and son, Geoff. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Simmons and husband, Gerard, and Jennifer Rascon and husband, Carlos; three grandchildren, Adam and wife, Jeni, Ashley and Alex; one great granddaughter, Cora; her sister, Elgetta Hummel and husband, Steve. Friends may visit Monday, November 30, 2015 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Nadynne's name to Sandia Baptist Church.
