MSGT Thomas W. Sadler, USAF, (Ret), Age 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Friday, July 29, 2016 with his family at his side.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gloria "Terry" Sadler; children, Brian Sadler of San Francisco, CA and Glenn Sadler and wife, Sandy of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Jordan Sadler, Taylor Sadler, Samuel Wood, Christopher De Loach, and Dustin De Loach; numerous other relatives including Rose Sadler; extended family including Sandra Swann and Jay Campbell; and many friends. Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, Louie and Donald Sadler.
He was born in 1931 in New York City and after high school joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served for 23 years, including a tour of duty in Vietnam.
He married Gloria Noisette in August of 1955. Following his military service he served 19 years in the U.S. Postal Service in Albuquerque. Tom was a Senior Water Aerobics Instructor at Kirtland Air Force Base. He was a very out-going and bigger than life person, who was always very happy to see others he met. Tom loved people. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Lomas. Interment of cremains will take place at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
