On Monday, October 29, 2018, Molly Aragon went home to be with the Lord after a tough battle with Leukemia. Molly passed away peacefully with her family at her side at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Molly was born on July 3, 1944 in Las Vegas, NM to Brigida Gallegos. She graduated from Robertson High School in May 1963. She married her childhood sweetheart Robert Aragon shortly after in July 1963, they were married 55 years at the time of her passing. Molly is survived by her husband, Robert Aragon 75; sons, Robert G. Aragon & Clarence Aragon; daughter, Joyce Perez; deceased daughter, Edith Pearl Peralta; grandchildren, Alicia, Laura, Tina, Matthew, Cody, Alexandria & Emily; and five great grandchildren. Molly is also survived by one brother, Lorenzo Gallegos, wife, Kathy and one sister, Viola Tapia, husband, Bobby.
Molly was a strong hearted woman who loved her entire family deeply and unconditionally. She enjoyed her beautiful home, spending time in the RV with her husband, going to the casino and finally a hot cup of coffee at any time during the day.
Our family is grateful for the care, love and compassion that the doctors, nurses and staff at UNM Hospital gave Molly during the last moments of her life. Special thanks to our family who provided so much love and support to our entire family in the final months and days of Molly’s life.
