Mitzi Carole Rivera

Mitzi Carole Rivera, our loving wife and mother, passed away March 27, 2014. She was 80 years old. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family and Sister Dottie Moss giving last rites. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Nina Sparman; brothers, Charles and Phil Sparman; sisters, Betty Gilbert, Wanda Martin, and Lois Tafoya. She is survived by her loving husband, Rambert T. Rivera; daughters, Carole J. Pierce, Renee McFarland (Ric), and Kathi Groves (Al); sons, Sonny Rivera and Michael Rivera (Pam); nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Judy Lucario. Services will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014, 11:00 a.m., at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris St., with Catholic Deacon Alex Trujillo officiating.
