Millicent Elizabeth "Millie" Johnson

Millicent (Millie) Elizabeth Johnson, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016. She was born on May 11, 1933 in Cleveland, OH. She was the only child of Kay and Wilma Newman of Parma, OH a suburb of Cleveland. Millie married Harry Johnson and they had six children. Millie is survived by her five children, Walt, of Reno, NV and wife, Jayne and their two children, Eric and Hailey, her daughter, Deborah Bartosik of Visalia, CA and her husband, Andre who passed away in November 2000, and their daughter, Alissa, her son, David of Medina, OH and wife, Sue, and their two children, Ryan and Von, her sons, Lester Eugene and Curtis James, both of Albuquerque; and three great-grandchildren, Brenna Bartosik, Vaylen Reynoso, and Isabella Johnson. Millie is preceded in death by her husband Harry who passed away on January 17, 1995, as well as her son, Ronald Kerry of Denver, CO, who passed away on January 30, 2014. Millie enjoyed traveling when she could. She wanted to share her favorite poem with the readers of her obituary:
"Twinkle twinkle, little star,
How I wonder where you are.
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky."

Millie will be cremated and her cremains will be taken by her family to Santa Fe National Cemetery to rest next to her husband. "Let God ease her soul."
