Fannie Mildrew (Chaffin) Hodo, age 104, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014. Mildrew was born May 9, 1910 in Nacogdoches, TX to David and Lena Chaffin; seven brothers soon followed. She married S.D. Hodo on December 23, 1928. A young wife and mother during the Great Depression, she and her family survived by sharecropping throughout West Texas before moving to Clovis, NM in 1939. In 1949, she, her husband and son moved to Albuquerque where they owned Royal Cleaners until the early 1970s. Mildrew is survived by her son, Bobby Dee Hodo; grandchildren, Jill Bean, Tim Hodo and Holly Kurz. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit FRENCH - Wyoming Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014, 1:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
