Mildred (Lovett) Landis

Mildred “Millie” Lovett Landis was born in Meridian, Mississippi on May 28, 1937. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023.
She is survived by her children Marvin, Michael (Beth) and Pam (Scott);  5 grandchildren; and 13 great- grandchildren, all of whom she loved very much. She loved her Savior and her family with all her heart.
She was proud to have visited all 50 states in her lifetime. She was in the first graduating class of Valley High School. She met the love of her life, Dale, and they married when she was 17. They enjoyed 37 wonderful years of marriage before Dale went to Heaven. Many people will remember her for her crafting- quilts, lace making, cross stitch and beading. Others will remember her love of depression glass, Barbies, and hedgehogs. But anyone who knew her knew she loved Jesus and was a prayer warrior. She loved attending church and was a faithful nursery worker for many, many years.
She will be greatly missed, but we are happy she is reunited with her Lord and with Dale.
