Mildred A. Killough, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 17, 2021 in Los Lunas, New Mexico. Mildred "The Avon Lady" was born on Sunday, February 27, 1927, in Stokes, Arkansas to Willis and Stella Milam. She married Joe Killough on Tuesday, June 13, 1944, and had their three children in Arkansas. The family moved to Bosque Farms, New Mexico, in August of 1961 where they built a home and were active members of the Bosque Farms Church of Christ for many years. Mildred sold Avon for over 40 years all over Valencia County.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Nita Jo Bundrant (Pat); son, Gordon Killough (Carolyn); granddaughter, Brenna Aschbacher (Kenny); grandson, Bryan Bundrant (Heather), Jeff Killough (Crystal), and Brad Killough; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters; and countless other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Killough (1962); husband, Joe Killough (2001); and grandson, Kyle Killough (2016).
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH-University with a Graveside Service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
