Conrad, Mildred L. “Millie”
Millie Conrad, age 90, a loving mother and grandmother went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ely McKibben Hyatt and Mildred Long Hyatt; and her husband of 65 years, Harry B. Conrad. She is survived by her sons, Ken Conrad, Clark Conrad and wife, Terri, and Craig Conrad; grandsons, Alan and James Conrad; granddaughters, Jessica and Katelyn Conrad; and ten nieces and nephews.
She attended Oberlin Business College and graduated from Hiram College with a degree in biology and chemistry in 1948. She was married August 14, 1948, in South Amherst, OH, to Harry Conrad. She was a charter member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Albuquerque and was active in all of the music programs for over 45 years. She was a teacher and director of St. Paul’s Preschool for 17 years and retired in May, 1985. She will be greatly missed.
Friends and family may visit FRENCH – University, 1111 University Blvd., N.E. on Tuesday, July 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, July 19, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at 9500 Constitution Ave., N.E. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
