Mildred M. Benninghoff passed away peacefully on April 12, 2015. Her life's journey has taken her home, to be with her Savior, Family, and Mother she so dearly missed. Millie was born in Tamms, small town in Illinois to Charles and Gladys Chester, where she went to school and worked on the family farm. After moving to Albuquerque in the mid-fifties, she married Donnie, her loving husband of over 52 years. She was a member of the Rio Grande Presbyterian Church and regularly volunteered her services at the Rio Grande Food Project. She is survived by her sons, Donald and Kyle Benninghoff of Albuquerque; grandsons, Kyle Ray Benninghoff of Albuquerque and Eric David of Louisville, KY; sister, Beatrice Robertson and husband, Everett; and brothers, Wendell Chester and wife, Mary and Carl Chester. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her son, Kim David; and her brothers, Charles and Lee Chester. Mildred's life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 18, 2015, 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends may visit FRENCH - Lomas, Friday April 17, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Rio Grande Presbyterian Church, 600 Coors Blvd NW, 87105.
