Michelle Anne Syroid

Michelle Anne Austin Syroid, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the age of 64.

She is survived by her three children, Christopher, Cherysse and Anthony Syroid, all of Albuquerque. Michelle is also survived by her brother, Jon Austin and wife, Hiroko and their three children, Shota, Kurumi and Joe, all of Arizona; as well as many other family and friends including Thomas Syroid, whom she was married to for 24 years.  She was preceded in death by her son, David H. Syroid; and her parents, Howard B. and June E. Austin.

Michelle was born in Indio, CA.  She was a graduate of Sandia High School and the received her BSRN from the University of New Mexico in 1976. She worked as a Register Nurse and also earned a managing cosmetology license while investing in Supercuts franchises. Michelle was a proud, loving and devoted mother.

A Celebration of her Life Service will be Saturday, March 24, 2018, 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.  Memorial contributions may be made to NAMI, 4011 Barbara Loop SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124, 505-990-2292, in honor of Michelle.
