Michael Anthony Zamora II, age 28, was born on Monday, January 3, 1994 to Angela Zamora (Madrid) and Michael Zamora. He passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 20, 2022, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Michael was known for his contagious laugh, and smile. There was never a dull moment as long as he was around. He loved to make everyone laugh, most of the time his laugh was the loudest in the room. Our memories are filled with tons of his jokes that we will never forget. Everyone knew Michael as a very funny, genuine, and hardworking person. No matter how much he worked he still always made sure to make time for his beautiful family who he loved more than anything. He was also a man of many talents. He loved to play the guitar and was very good at it. He also loved the drums, singing, fishing, cooking, playing video games, and he could fix anything you handed him.
In 2011 Michael met the love of his life, Tiffany Arguello. The start of their relationship was Friday, March 23, 2012 and ever since, they've been inseparable. When they met, I don't think either of them knew how much they would mean to each other in the future. They were always there for each other no matter what. A family of two soon became a beautiful family of three on Saturday, December 30, 2017, when they had their first son, Leon. This day was always very important to Michael. Ever since he found out about Leon, he knew being a father is what he always wanted to be. He did everything to protect and love his family, he did anything for them as long as it meant they were happy. Together, they lived in a beautiful house in Rio Rancho, New Mexico that Michael was always happy to fix up and make sure it was perfect for his family to continue to grow in. Michael always said that Leon was his "second chance" and wanted to give him the love and care he deserved, and he did. He was a great father and became a great fiancé in 2020.
Not only was he a great father and fiancé, he was an amazing son, brother, and grandson. He only ever wanted what was best for his family. Everyone knew how much he loved and cared for them because he always showed it. He was very proud of his family and himself. He had a great job that he loved as a Diesel Tech at Penske. He had many friends there and was Penske's best worker and comedian. Michael also served in the Army National Guard from 2015 to 2019. That was a very proud moment for him and his family and he also made lifelong friends. There are many good things to say about Michael, he was truly one of a kind and such an amazing and pure soul.
He is survived by his fiancé, Tiffany Arguello; son, Leon Zamora; parents, Angela and Michael Zamora; sisters, Sabrina Zamora and Marissa Zamora; nephew, Jayden Brownell; paternal grandparents, Yvonne and Pedro Zamora; maternal grandparents, Mel and Rita Madrid; and his nina, Linda Rael. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
