Michael M. Scialla Dr.

Age, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Frances Arthur Scialla; his daughter, Janelle Scialla and husband, Ibrahim Acar, of Bradford-on-Avon, UK; sister, Jill Scialla of Bridgeport, CT; brothers-in-law, Melvyn Arthur and wife, Mary Margaret, of Gilboa, OH; and Rear Adm. Paul Arthur and wife, Joy, of Las Cruces, NM and many other family and friends. Dr. Scialla was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Xavier and Olimpia Scialla. He served our country in the United States Army in Korea during the Korean War. Dr. Scialla was a longtime member of St. John's United Methodist Church. He was in private practice in Albuquerque for many years. Services will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona St. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit FRENCH - Lomas, Monday, February 3, 2014 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
