Michael Ross London Jr

Michael Ross London, Jr., born August 28, 1951, went to join our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Michael lived a very rough life, but he always kept a smile on his face and he gave the best hugs in the world! Even through all his suffering as a child and later into his adult years, he never stopped hugging and trying to help others. Michael was a good man when he could be.
His first memories were of working out constantly at the age of five. His dad, Michael London, Sr., was a prominent wrestling promoter in Albuquerque for decades. He tried to make Michael, Jr. strong enough to make it into the record books. Michael, Jr. became a professional wrestler and wrestled with such greats as Andre the Giant, The Funks, and he even had the honor of having a bout with Mr. T!
Michael, Jr. also served our beautiful country in the Vietnam War. This is where his life, for all intents and purposes, ends. He came back from Vietnam with a severe mental illness, among many other hardships along the way. Michael never had it easy in his life.
He did get blessed though and married his soul mate, Nancy Lynn London. The two were so very young and happy and eventually had a beautiful daughter.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Robyn Elizabeth London and her husband, Eric T. Davis; his sisters, Michelle London and Sherry London; his nephew, Vito Servicio; Vito's dad, John Servicio, and his nephew, Mathew.
As a result of Vietnam, my dad, Michael, Jr. suffered way too long, but he was the strongest man I've ever known. The family asks that donations be made in Michael's name to the Veteran's Administration or to the mental health care organization of your choice.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 at noon at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE in Rio Rancho. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe Street in Santa Fe.
