Michael Hatch

Michael was born in Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday, April 4, 1950. He moved to New Mexico in 1959 and graduated from Highland High School in 1968. In 1977, he married Kerry Brennessel. He was a member of the Army National Guard and moved to the Air National Guard where he retired from in 2002 as a Master Sargent Crew Chief. Michael enjoyed traveling across the US with his family as he followed the Air National Guard Academy Graduate meetings. Once retired, Michael pursued traveling around the world on many cruises. Michael was a big animal lover and volunteered at Animal Welfare for 10 years. He was also a foster dad to at least 60 kittens.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kerry; his daughters, Stacy (husband Jason), and Jessica (husband Jon), and brother, Richard (wife Sharon).

He lost his fight with cancer on Saturday, March 22, 2025.
