Michael Walter Kashinski

Michael Walter Kashinski, age 70, a 32-year resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital. He recently suffered a stroke after battling heart problems for years. Michael was the beloved husband of Doreen "Toni" Kashinski who preceded him in death in October, 1994 after 28 years of marriage. Michael is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ann Kashinski; and son, Richard Michael Kashinski. Michael spent 20 years serving his country in the Air Force, retiring as Master Sergeant. He spent his retirement years volunteering at Eastdale Little League, including serving as their President for 13 years. He dearly loved his nieces, Nancy and Linda Haluska, children of his only sibling June (who died December, 2002) and her husband, Gustave Halusa.
Friends and family may visit FRENCH - Wyoming on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016, 11:00 a.m., also at FRENCH - Wyoming with Jared Bridge officiating. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Michael's name to the Wounded Warrior Project or American Cancer Society.
