Michael Morgan Van Kampen

On Saturday December 26, 2015, Michael Morgan Van Kampen of Bernalillo, NM left this earth to join his heavenly Father. He was born in Coldwater, Michigan. His parents, Harvey and Edna Kay (Morgan) Van Kampen preceded him in death. Gloria, his wife, and Michael just celebrated 49 years of marriage. Michael is survived by his brother, Patrick Van Kampen, PHD.
Michael often said his son Kirt Michael and grandson, Cameron Michael were his distinctive gifts from God. Candace Pierce, his special granddaughter, gave him three great grandchildren. Michael is survived by four nephews and two nieces. His two best friends his cousins, Dan and David Haylett, who brought joy to Michael's heart when he was with them. Michael is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was known for his love for anything automotive related. He faithfully served his heavenly Father in all aspects of his life. He loved doing landscape design at his homes.
His memorial services will be held on Saturday February 6, 2016 FRENCH - Desert View Chapel Rio Rancho, NM at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation, PO Box 374, Birmingham, Michigan 48012-0374.
