Michael Demone Hunter

Michael Demone Hunter, 53, beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, was called to home on Monday, June 21, 2021. He entered this world on February 29, 1968 in Shiprock, NM, born to Roosevelt and Theresa Hunter.

Michael graduated from Harrison High School in 1986 and attended UNM, UTTC And SIPI college. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, road trips and especially loved coaching youth and High School football. He had a passion for Cleveland High School Wrestling and UNM Lobos Football; as he was his sons biggest fan! He will be dearly missed but never forgotten!

Michael was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Diana Hunter; daughter, Ashley Hunter; son, Dion Hunter; son, Malik Hunter; son, Quincy Hunter; grandchildren, Kamarii Hunter and David Jr. Rhoads; mother, Theresa Hunter; father, Roosevelt Hunter; brother, Ronnie Hunter; sister, Sophia and brother-in-law, Harvey Crum; sister, Monica and brother-in-law, Larry Allen; sister-in-law, Anita Kidder; sister-in-law, Tina and brother-in-law, Bryan Lautt; brother-in-law, Derek Kidder; nieces, Deasha Crum, Cheyene Crum, Amanda Donohue-Allen, Rajene Allen, Shantel Allen and Keanna Maxon; nephews, Erik Crum, Larry Allen III and Brevin Maxon. As well as many aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Thomas Crum

A Celebration of Life will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the New Life Baptist Church, 6330 Riverside Plaza Ln #200, Albuquerque, NM 87120

The Celebration of Life will be officiated by Dr. Larry E. Allen.
