Michael J. Fleischhauer

Michael J. Fleischhauer, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 surrounded by close family. Michael is survived by his wife Shirley of 64 years; four children, Rai Lynn (Vincent) Guidone, Michael J. Fleischhauer, III, Dr. Franklin J. (Rebecca) Fleischhauer and Camille (Dwight) Velarde; seven grandchildren, Jonathan (Carlie) Guidone, Genny Guidone, Elizabeth Fleischhauer, David Fleischhauer, Caroline Fleischhauer, Dwight Velarde and Evangeline Velarde; two great grandchildren, Ava and Evelyn Guidone; Michael is also survived by one cousin, Dolores Cuellar. Michael proudly served in the United States Navy as a Meteorologist during World War II. He was also a founding member of the Edgewood Masonic Lodge. Michael was a recipient of the Silver Antelope Award from The Boys Scouts of America. He retired in 1988 from General Motors Corporation after 35 years of service. A memorial service will be held on Sunday June 21, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH- Golf Course. In Lieu of flowers please make contributions to The Boys Scouts of America, .
