Michael Beavis

Michael A. Beavis, 66, was born to Albert S. Beavis and Mary A. Smith on October 16, 1957, in Castro Valley, CA. Michael went home to be with his Lord on Friday, January 19, 2024.

Michael received Christ when he was nine years old and was baptized at the age of 11. After he graduated from Hayward High School in 1975, his love for the Lord sent him to study three years at Emmaus Bible School in Oak Park, IL. Mike then went into the Air Force in March1979 where he served for 3 years and 10 months.

In 1979, Michael briefly met Robbie (Roberta) Edinger. They rekindled their friendship in the spring of 2004 and were married on November 27, 2004.

Michael had five stepchildren: Seann Stephen Carey, Deanne Marie (Carey) Milligan, Deaven Michael Carey, Reagan Patrick Carey, and Heath Christian Carey.

He had seven grandchildren: Eanon Joseph Milligan, Brinna Lee Milligan, Ceanna Ruth Milligan, Froilan Scott Milligan, Rowan Joseph Carey, Finley Stephen Carey, and Nora Kathleen Carey.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Albert S. Beavis and Mary A. Smith, and his stepfather Joseph Berthiaume Sr. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Beavis. Sister, Kathleen (Beavis) Buchanan. Stepbrothers, Mike Berthiaume, and Joseph Berthiaume Jr.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests on Michael's Behalf, that donations be made to Southwest Bible Camp, Glenwood New Mexico or Gideons International.
