Geraldene B. Reahard passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017, quietly in her home in the Albuquerque Four Hills Neighborhood. Gerry is survived by her children, Barbara Kasper of North Manchester, IN, Patricia Kelley and husband, David of Albuquerque, Dan Reahard and wife, Sandy of Plymouth, MI, Sue Weix and husband, Mike of Albuquerque, and Carol Reahard of Indianapolis, IN. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. Gerry was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Dan Reahard. She was born in 1914 and was raised in north central Indiana where she married Dan. They raised their family in Indiana and then relocated to Albuquerque in 1967 in a semi-retirement. She and Dan traveled extensively in Europe when Dan was employed by an international company. After they retired from corporate America they confined their travels to North America. They outfitted a VW camper and drove the Alcan highway north to the Arctic Circle and south to the Panama Canal. Gerry was an avid golfer and played into her 90's at the Four Hills Country Club (now the Canyon Club at Four Hills). She also enjoyed playing bridge with several groups in the Four Hills area and at the Duke City Duplicate Bridge Club. Cremation has taken place and a "Celebration of her Life" will be held for family and friends at Gerry's home, on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A small Memorial Service will be held in Chili, IN at the Chili Community Cemetery on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Geraldene's name to the charity of your choice.
