Meribelle L. "Dusty" Bolton

Dusty Bolton went to be with her Lord on March 12, 2015. She was 84 years old and was born in Goodland, KS to Neva Matilda (Hubbard) Rhoads and Walter Frank Rhoads. She married the love of her life Robert Bolton on March 5, 1976 and spent 39 wonderful years together. They moved from Albuquerque to Los Lunas, NM in 1982 and together they ran Bolton, Inc. until she retired in 2006. She is survived by her spouse Robert H. Bolton of Los Lunas, NM; sister Joann Monaghan and spouse Gene of Caldwell, ID. Daughters Jane Higdon and husband John of Amarillo, TX, Roberta Rodriquez and husband Rod of Albuquerque, NM and Mary Sue Tanis of Grand Junction, CO.; and son Mike Campbell and wife Barbara, of Amarillo, TX. Grand-children Chris Campbell, Amy Brattin, Ben Higdon, Melinda McNutt, Kristin Tanis and Kathleen Tanis; Great grand-children Aubrey Higdon, Ryanne Campbell, Jaret Campbell, Riley Higdon, Brandon Barbee, Piper Barbee, Joey Brattin, Tate Campbell, Hunter McNutt, Hudson McNutt. Mrs. Bolton was preceded in death by her parents Neva Warner and Walter Rhoads, brother Richard Rhoads, son in law Randy Tanis. Anyone who knew Dusty had no doubt in her love of the Lord and her faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and mentor. She will be greatly missed. Mrs. Bolton was a proud member of Hoffmantown Church, past chairman of Valencia Co Republican Party and vice chairman of NM State Republican Party. Celebration of life memorial service will be held March 20, 2015 at 2:00pm at Hoffmantown Church, Albuquerque, NM.
