Our loving child Mercedes "Mercy" Roque Arreguin, age 12, was granted her angel wings on February 29th, 2016. Jesus said it is time and she leapt right into his arms. She filled our lives with unspeakable joy, she was loved by everyone, and was truly a sweetheart who deeply moved the hearts of so many. On this earth remains her mother Alisha, her father Juan; brothers Juan Jr and Isaiah; sisters Brianna, Veronica, and Savannah; her sister-in-law Alexis and her niece Dahlia; countless family and friends. Mercy's life was too short, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her and though she never spoke a word, her voice and thoughts could always be heard. Although Mercy's illness made her appear frail, she possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With her courage she leads us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 4, 2016 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., also at FRENCH - Lomas.
