Melissa Murphy

Melissa Brooke Murphy (Adkins), passed away unexpectedly on December 11th, 2023, at home, in Albuquerque, NM. She was only 48 years old. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. 

Melissa will be greatly missed by Carol and Chris (mother, step-father), Steve and MaryAnn (father, step-mother), Savannah (daughter), Miles (brother), and a great many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Melissa was born on June 4, 1975, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She grew up in Albuquerque, NM and attended Albuquerque high school. She later attended NM Junior College in Hobbs, NM to earn her degree in Nursing and successively, licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Melissa had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was so kind and compassionate. She made an impact on many lives, and she will be forever missed. Until we meet again... 

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH- Lomas.
