May Fair Barnett

BARNETT, May Fair Age 90, longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. She and her twin brother, Glen Dair Bowman, were born on August 6, 1923 in Hulver, TX. He passed away just two short months before she did. May Fair was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jess Meacham in 1988; her second husband, Barney Barnett in 2006; brother, C.B. Bowman; and sister, Del Ray House. She is survived by her children, Joe Meacham and Pam Meacham; many nieces, nephews, extended family members; her daughter's friends, who thought of her as a second mother, and her faithful companion, Max the cat. May Fair will always be remembered for her love of fun and great flair for life. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2014, 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH-Westside. A private family interment will take place.
