ln his retirement he enjoyed woodworking, gardening, family, and pets. Throughout his life he maintained his sense of humor. He and Doris were devoted parents and grandparents. They enjoyed laughing together, traveling, visiting with friends, and shared an appreciation for nature. ln his last days, Max often expressed his thankfulness for his God, family, and experiences. He asked that we not mourn for him but celebrate his life.

The care provided by Hospice of New Mexico, especially Johnny and Becki, helped him through his final days. Max also appreciated his caregivers and friends at Amaran Senior Living and loved his view of the Sandia mountains.
