Max Cuzzort

Age 76, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on Monday, October 22, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Doreen; sons, Richard and wife, Racette; Paul and wife, Susan; Michael and wife, Rhonda; and Steven and wife, Tallie all of Oklahoma; stepchildren, Michael and DeLaina Cushing and friends, Larry and Elaine Gonzales all of Albuquerque; brothers, Robert and wife, Shirley, and Steve and wife Norma all of Arkansas; Grandchildren Christopher Cuzzort and wife, Whitney of Folsom, LA; Courtney Landoll, and husband Joseph, Matthew, Megan, Elijah, Sam, Benjamin, Jackson, Peyton, and Joshua Cuzzort, all of Oklahoma; Brandon and Christopher Cushing of Florida; Loedi Silva and husband Greg of Belen, NM; Shelby Cruver and wife Christina of Lakewood, WA; and Ellee Weaks and husband Justin of Albuquerque, NM; and great grandchildren Darian and Tayler Silva of Belen, NM; Tristan Cruver of Lakewood, WA; and Ellie Cuzzort of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Geneva Cuzzort; daughter, Elizabeth Cuzzort; sisters, Ann Liebenguth and Elizabeth Nast. Max served his country in the United States Army from 1955 - 1978 including two tours of duty in Vietnam. After his military service, he taught ROTC at Albuquerque High School and retired from Kirtland Air Force Base in 1998. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Service time will be available at a later date on the French website.
