Maureen Charlotte McKenna

Maureen "Reen" McKenna, born Dec 16, 1947, went to rest in peace with her Savior on Monday, September 5, 2022, after being in the care of hospice and her loving husband. We are deeply grateful and send much thanks to Ambercare Hospice nurses and staff.

Maureen had 74 years of living a full life with an abundance of adventure and love.  She was born in Brooklyn, New York, to John and Ann Kelly. She raised her family a single mom in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In the mid-1980s she met Thomas H. McKenna, the love of her life! They married in January of 1986 and found a lovely spot in Northeast Albuquerque, making it their forever home.

Maureen and Tom are soulmates who worked very hard at their relationship, their lives, and their love, inspiring people who know them to do the same.

Maureen's vibrant beauty, smile, laughter, and love will be remembered by those that knew her. We will miss her physical presence, but we will forever feel her love.  She is survived by her husband Tom, and their children Matthew, Lisa, KellyAnn and David. Maureen was a longtime friend of Bill W.
