Matthew Tate, age 30, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020

Matthew was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque born on Friday, August 31, 1990

Matthew's favorite pass time was skateboarding, but most of all spending time with his niece's Isabella and Sierra.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Valerie Nieto and step-dad Stephen Nieto; sister, Kelly Tate and partner Nick Martines; brothers, Robert and Nicholas Nieto; and sister, Amanda Trujillo. All from Albuquerque. Matthew is also survived by his aunt, Mary Lucero and husband Matt from CO; and aunts, Carissa Tate, Paula Tate-Martinez, Diana Tate, Darlene Tate all from OK.m

Matthew is preceded in death by his father, Anthony Tate, and all his maternal grandparents.
