Matilda "Tillie" Sandoval

Tillie Sandoval, 86, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at her home surrounded by family. Tillie was born and raised in Chimayo, NM, resided in Espanola until 1984 when she moved to Albuquerque.
Tillie is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Sandoval; and her two sons, Robert and Donald. She is survived by her children, Mary Sandoval, Jimmy (Jeanette) Sandoval and Cristella (Steve) Martinez. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alicia Sandoval-Reid, Michael Sandoval, Isaac Sandoval, Lynette Sandoval, Samuel Martinez, Gabriel Martinez and four great-grandchildren.
Most important to Tillie in her life was her family and her faith. She will be missed as mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church, 1801 Montano Rd. NW, 87107 with a reception to follow. Burial will take place on Thursday, November 5 at 9:45 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
