Marylin Janis Gilstrom McKillip, age 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1978, died September 14, 2015. She is survived by her children, Georgia Marchbanks and husband, Craig of Tampa, FL, Jennifer Kaiser of West Hollywood, CA, Brian Kilcup and wife, Brenda of Corrales, NM, Glen Kilcup and wife, Clara, of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Charmayne Kilcup, Alexis Marchbanks, Cameron Kilcup, Sean Marchbanks, Cailyn Kilcup, Emma Kilcup, and Madeleine Kilcup. A beloved wife of John "Jack" McKillip, she was an elementary school educator in San Martin and Gilroy, CA until she retired in 1978. While a teacher in CA for most of her career, she first began as a model in Washington State. She and Jack later went on to become prune farmers, sailors, adventurous travelers, business investors, and accomplished ballroom dancers. Marylin was an avid enthusiast of metaphysical and UFO research. She loved to discover new places from Stonehenge to the Greek Isles. Locally, Jack and Lin could often be found dancing on a Sunday afternoon at the Mountain View Club at Kirtland AFB. Services will be held Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 4:30 p m.
